When buying a computer, most of the average computer users do not memorize its overall hardware and software characteristics. If any problem with the software performance occurs, users fail to let the support service know the details of the computer's configurations. The menu page represents hardware, software and DirectX information.  EVEREST  separates the system into 15 categories listed in the menu page. The general information on a user's PC is contained in the Computer category. The Motherboard category provides detailed information on the CPU, Chipset, Memory and BIOS. Detailed information on Windows properties, services, and the running processes can be found in the Operating System category. The Storage category gives information on all hard disk and optical disk drivers. The Internet settings and networking status can be viewed in the Network category. Besides previously mentioned categories, the menu page also contains the following: Server, Display, Multimedia, DirectX, Devices, Software, Security, Config, Database, and Benchmark.

If we dwell on the Benchmark category it must be mentioned that it offers four memory tests as well as six tests on the processor's performance. The program also gives the ability to go through a system stability test and give accurate results on the computer's state and performance. By using this feature,  EVEREST  Ultimate Edition allows you to measure the system performance. It is also possible to compare computer configuration reflecting changes of certain performance parameters. Most of the test results are transformed into numerical scores. The higher the test result score, the better the computer performance. The Memory test results are shown in megabytes per second, nanosecond and kilobytes per second.

When a new version of the program is available and a user wants to install it, there is no need to uninstall the previous version. The only thing a user has to do is to overwrite all files from the installation package to the existing EVEREST folder.

A handy feature provided by the  EVEREST  application is a capability to set a Windows task bar. The bar monitors the system's configuration in real time and shows performance characteristics, including the motherboard and hard disk temperatures, the fan speed, voltage etc.

EVEREST  provides users with extremely detailed information on a computer's configurations. The  EVEREST  file-tree interface is fast and easy to use. A user does not have to be a computer professional to know what menu category to choose to view certain information on the system's performance.
